Jeff and Molly met at Oberlin College in the great state of Ohio. At Oberlin, Jeff vigorously studied the field of Economics and played a little bit of baseball. Molly focused on setting records for the volleyball team and mixed in some light Biology studies as well. Their first date was at Chipotle, one of the better restaurants around Oberlin, and they started dating over the winter of Jeff's junior year and Molly's sophomore year. After two more years of college parties, classes, and baseball--including a 2015 NCAC conference championship which some people still forget about--Jeff moved to Washington, DC to begin his career in finance and be close to friends. Looking to pursue a career in public health, Molly also moved out east in 2016 and was conveniently reunited with Jeff. In 2015, Jeff originally moved into his pal Andy's house before living with five friends in Glover Park. While Jeff played a lot of beer league softball & golf, Molly continued her public health studies and established the Bao Bao United kickball & volleyball teams. In 2019, Jeff finally came to his senses and agreed to get Molly her dream Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, Mia. Mia is 100+ lbs and currently on the bubble for an invite to the wedding's cocktail hour. After 8 years together, Molly and Jeff are tying the knot in Leesburg, Virginia and can't wait to celebrate with their friends and families!
Playa del Carmen, Mexico, May 2021 Jeff had plans to propose right before the trip hiking the Billy Goat Trail with his dog Mia by his side, but this plan was sadly ruined by a major storm. The new plan was to propose the first night of the trip, celebrate, and relax the rest of the vacation. However on night one in Mexico, Molly caught Jeff fiddling through the safe trying to grab the ring, so he left the ring in the safe and headed out thinking no big deal with plans to propose the next day. On day two, Jeff was busy dealing with Montezuma's Revenge! (He swears he didn't drink the water!) On night three, the stars were lining up. Jeff and Molly were walking down the beach under the stars and moon, moments away from Jeff proposing... when they started getting hit with a security spotlight and instructions to turn around. Souring the mood a bit, the proposal was again postponed. Finally, on night four after a perfect day Jeff got down on one knee and proposed on their balcony. Molly said yes! They then headed off to a nice dinner and a night of celebration!
