Fun fact: Macie actually met Jeff’s sister, Anna, and mom, Deb, before she ever met Jeff. While working at Starbucks, Deb was one of Macie’s regular drive-thru customers. One day, Deb asked if they were hiring because she wanted to help her daughter find a job. About a month later, Anna and Macie were officially coworkers. At the same time, Macie was also working with one of Jeff’s friends. Through Anna and that mutual friend, she slowly started spending time with a larger group of Jeff’s friends. (Yes, Jeff was there. No, they did not speak.) In April 2019, Macie hosted a small get-together at her house. Her coworker and Jeff’s mutual friend asked, “Can I bring a couple guys?” After almost saying no, Macie agreed — and in walked Jeff and Andrew (the future Best Man). From there, the four of them — Macie, Jeff, Andrew, and Gabi (the future Maid of Honor) — spent the entire summer together. By July 2019, Macie and Jeff officially became boyfriend and girlfriend… and the rest is history.
