Natural Bridge State Park
Cross the NATURAL BRIDGE STATE PARK off your bucket-list. The geological wonder is an awe-inspiring 215ft high limestone arch carved from Cedar Creek, and is estimated to be 450 million years old. Today, the Virginia State Park offers educational programs, a Monacan Indian Living History Exhibit, and over 6 miles of trails.
Upper James River Water Trail
Get a new perspective of the Blue Ridge Mountains! Spend the afternoon paddling, fishing and wildlife viewing on the 65 miles of the UPPER JAMES RIVER WATER TRAIL. The UJRWT features Class I-III rapids, ensuring paddlers a segment suitable to their skill level. Bring your own equipment or utilize an outfitter who will provide gear and shuttle transportation.
Devils Backbone Brewing Company - Outpost Tap Room & Kitchen
The Devils Backbone Outpost Tap Room & Kitchen is located on a beautiful hillside in Lexington and houses the custom-built brewery, bottling and canning lines, taproom with fast-casual dining, and outdoor beer garden. Located on U.S Route 11 just north of Lexington. Tap Room Hours: Daily noon-8pm.

Great Valley Farm Brewery and Winery is located in Rockbridge County’s Natural Bridge, with breathtaking views that make it the perfect stop after visiting area attractions. Great Valley specializes in Belgian-style farmhouse ales, sometimes utilizing select ingredients from their farm, as well as other local farms and orchards. Great Valley recently added wine to their offerings using grapes from their 6-acre vineyard, as well as other small vineyards throughout the Shenandoah Valley.
