WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Answer
Most guests will be arriving on Friday and departing on Monday. However, the wedding couple will be on the property from Wednesday through Monday. Please feel free to extend your stay and enjoy a longer getaway if you wish!

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
Answer
Yes— we kindly request that guests dress in semi-formal attire for the wedding ceremony.

ARE KIDS WELCOME?
Answer
Yes! Kids are welcome at the wedding ceremony and reception. However, please note that the Secrets side of the resort is adults-only. If you’re bringing children, you’ll need to stay on the Dreams side of the hotel. Guests staying at Dreams who wish to join us on the Secrets side will need to pay a $150 per-person access fee.

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?

We are delighted to celebrate this special occasion with our closest family and friends. Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the individuals listed on your invitation. We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing additional guests. Thank you for your understanding.

Do I need a passport?
Answer
Yes, all travelers to Mexico must have a valid passport that does not expire within six months of travel.

How do I get from the airport to the resort?
Answer
Uber and local taxis are available. Uber cannot pick up directly at the terminal, so you'll need to walk 5–7 minutes to the rideshare pickup area outside the airport. The resort also offers airport transportation for a fee.

Is the resort all-inclusive?

Yes! Unlimited food, drinks, and amenities are included during your stay at Secrets Vallarta Bay.

Can I stay somewhere else?
Answer
Don't recommend because guests staying off-property must pay a $175 per-person event attendance fee to enter the resort for the wedding day.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
Our wedding will take place on August 15, 2026, which falls during Puerto Vallarta’s warm, tropical summer season. You can expect hot temperatures, high humidity, and the possibility of afternoon or evening showers, as August is part of the rainy season. Daytime temperatures typically range from the high 80s to mid-90s°F (30–35°C), with warm evenings. We recommend lightweight, breathable clothing for the weekend—and don’t forget sunscreen and hydration!
