Wander the galleries at two of Savannah's finest art museums. The Telfair museum houses a collection of art from the 19th and 20th centuries, while the Jepson museum focuses primarily on modern art. One ticket will get you into both museums, as well as the Owens Thomas house.

If you feel like getting some easy exercise, Skidaway State Park is a beautiful park roughly 30 minutes from downtown Savannah. There are several easy trails stretching throughout the park to enjoy.
This is a cute (but small) aquarium on the grounds at the Skidaway Institute of Oceanography. Once you've finished looking at the critters, take the nature trail next to the aquarium for lovely views of the marsh and maritime forest.
For the history buffs, this Civil War era fort has a wonderful guided tour that details the blockade of the Savannah Harbor. Stop by on your way to Tybee Beach!
This wildlife refuge contains the freshwater portion of the Savannah river and is a wonderful place to spot alligators, turtles, and plenty of other wildlife. There are several trails throughout the refuge, though they are more strenuous and less shaded than others on this list (bring water!).
