Officiant
What could be said about Andrew that he hasn’t already said, only louder? Andrew has become a very close friend of both the bride and groom, together and individually, since meeting him in Nashville a few years ago. It is a bond that started as fear, as Andrew initially found the bride and groom intimidating in the their leather jackets and tattoos. Andrew quickly learned that this couple was not a biker couple, but rather just a couple of nerds. Andrew is the ultimate yes man, down for almost anything from skydiving to karaoke nights. If you needed help burying a body… Andrew is your guy.
Maid of Honor
Kath has been with me as a best friend and sister since elementary school. From Mac Miller and We The Kings concerts to high school homecomings; first kisses to long term relationships; hometowns to moving to new states; this girl has been there with me through it all. She is essentially a part of the Huck family. Kath is the most selfless friend. She has brought so much joy into my life. The adventures we've had together are endless - she is the ultimate yes man. I can't wait to have her with me on this next adventure.
Bridesmaid
Sarah came into my life in 2020 when I was a new PA. She trained me on my first day at the wretched urgent we worked at in Metro Detroit. In between seeing patients, I said to her, "I need tequila". From that point on, we were best friends. Sarah is one of the smartest, most caring, and driven women I've ever met. I can truly count on her for anything. And what I love most is how much she not only loves me, but Jeff as well. Sarah is what we millennials call, a ride or die.
Bridesmaid
Alix is my girl. We have been best friends since elementary school. This girl is the funniest, wittiest, loyalest friend. I could yap with her for hours and there's never a dull moment. FYI - if you see her handing me drinks on the dance floor, it's because its her mission to get me intoxicated at all times. But Al, you know I'll get you first ;) I can't wait to have her by my side, keeping me laughing, all day.
Bridesmaid
Emily fell into my life in Summer 2020. When everything felt like it was falling apart, I found a friend in Emily who made it all better. Though, yes, we were both messes at this time in our lives, we were also having a blast. This girl drove 8 hours down to Nashville early in our friendship just to be there with me for my birthday. From horrible jobs and breakups to making a pact to better ourselves and move down to Nashville together, we've done it all. She has seen Jeff and I grow together firsthand. She is the perfect person to stand up next to me on our wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Erica was Jeff's friend first. She, Andrea and Jeff were besties in high school. I got the pleasure of meeting Erica in 2022 in Chicago. Thankfully, she approved of me right away. I didn't know it then, but her moving to Nashville soon after meeting was going to bring so much to my life. From there, our friendship grew. And now, she likes me better than Jeff ;) Erica is an amazing friend and confidant. I can't wait to have her stand up with both of us.
Bridesmaid
Ava girl has been in my life since college. She has a laugh that can be heard around the world. This girl brings so much joy into people's lives, mine included. She, Lauren and I were roommates at Michigan State. Though she lives in Hawaii now, our friendship hasn't wavered. Just like with Lauren, when we are together, it's like no time has passed. I am so grateful that she is flying across the country to be a part of our special day.
Bridesmaid
I have known Lauren since middle school but our friendship blossomed in high school driver's training. We have truly grown up together. I still remember sitting in her house at age 16, planning our futures, as young girls do. Thinking we'd be married with kids by age 27. Lauren is the reason I fell in love with Nashville. She's now a successful lawyer in Chicago and I don't get to see her much. But when I do, it's like no time has passed. She's a forever friend.
Bridesmaid
Funny enough, I knew Rachel way before I even knew who Jeff was. Being the same age at rival high schools, we became acquaintances. I finally formally met Rachel a few years ago. She is the sweetest and easiest person to get along with. The best way I can describe Rachel is as a bundle of joy. We share a common love for animals (she's a horse girl while I'm a cat lady) and her brother, of course. So lucky to have her by my side as a bridesmaid and as a sister-in-law!
Bridesmaid
Kenz and I have a very similar story as Rachel and I. For some reason, the Williams boys love to marry girls the same age as their sister. Kenz also went to my rival high school and I knew her as the Adams High School soccer star. I finally got to officially meet her a few years ago when Jeff and I started dating and what I was told in high school was accurate - she is an absolute angel. Kenz is a joy to be around. It's no surprise that she and Matt have the most angelic little girls that I'm so lucky to call my nieces. I, again, hit the jackpot with another amazing sister-in-law!
Best Man
Jeff’s best man in every sense of the word. Matt has had the misfortune of being Jeff’s brother for almost 34 years and in that time they’ve been through it all. The father of Jeff’s 3 wonderful nieces, Matt has always been a good and calming influence on his older brother. Expect tears and laughs in equal measure during his best man’s speech
Groomsman
If you don’t already know Nick Reed, you will. It has been said that, being an introvert, Jeff needs an extrovert to balance him out. Nick Reed fills that role and then some. Always down for a drink, a movie, or a road trip, Jeff and Nick lived together before Jeff abandoned him for Nashville. Though, as many times as Nick has visited he might as well just move down there anyway. Nick has been there for Jeff through everything, even occasionally calling him on his bullshit. If you’re looking for a fun time, Nick is your man. If you are looking for a friend who will never leave you hanging in a time of need, well, Nick is your man too.
Groomsman
The other piece of a trio of friends who have been friends since elementary school, Jeff basically grew up in David’s basement. From video games like Worms, to movies like Terminator 2, David and Jeff constantly bombard each other with media recommendations. Even after Jeff relocated from Illinois to Michigan, David always made a point to visit to keep the friendship alive, and Jeff couldn’t imagine anyone more worthy to stand next to him on the biggest day of his life
Groomsman
One of Jeff’s oldest friends, Nick has known Jeff longer than almost anyone and for some reason still hangs around. From middle school to adulthood, Nick has been one of Jeff’s closest confidants for over 20 years. Nick has by Jeff’s side for his first alcoholic beverage, and there are many more to be shared in the coming decades of their friendship.
Groomsman
A friendship forged through music and beers. Jeff and Mike became friends going to concerts in the summers between college years. A friendship only solidified by the shitshow known as Faster Horses. Mike has never said no to even the dumbest of Jeff’s ideas, and he has the memories, scars and burns to prove it. A very dear friend, Jeff and Mike have done a lot of growing together through the years, and Jeff could not be more proud to have the title of Uncle Jeff to Mike’s kids
Groomsman
While Game of Thrones may have had a shit ending, it led to a lifelong friendship. From the days of making outrageous meals for the Sunday Supper Club, to concerts and exchanging movie and music recommendations, Matt has always been there for a good laugh. Oh, and someone please remember to request the DJ play Pony at the wedding...
Groomsman
If Jeff has a dumb or dangerous idea, Romeo is there to make it dumber. From breaking into abandoned buildings to tire tubing, Romeo is never short on ideas to make a seemingly calm Tuesday a potentially life threatening situation. From their days on the wrestling mat to jumping out of airplanes and being extras on movie sets, life is never boring when Jeff and Romeo are together.
Groomsman
The brother of the Bride, and soon to be brother of the groom, Jonathan is finally getting the brother he never asked for. One of Bandit's favorite people; Jeff needed Jonathan to live with him for a few months before Kelsey. Just to make sure he could handle living with a Huck
Groomsman
A friendship that started over two of the very best things in life; Dungeons and Dragons and rye whiskey. Jeff and Kelsey met Mitch randomly walking into his bar, and to this day never really left. With memorable experiences in real life and on the battle map, Mitch has always been there for us as a true friend and we couldn't imagine him not standing with us on our big day
