One of the most beautiful places in Buffalo! Located alongside of Buffalo's History Museum and Hoyt Lake, the Japanese gardens are open daily during daylight hours and is free to visit. This spot means the world to us—it’s where we got engaged and later returned to take our engagement photos. The garden’s beautiful setting made it the perfect place for such meaningful moments in our relationship.
Some of our most favorite restaurants are along this street! We highly recommend checking out Britesmith Brewing, The Irishman, the historic Eagle House, Share, The Creekview or The Glen Park Tavern - Julianna's parents favorite! If you're looking for a breakfast spot, you can visit The Original Pancake house or Overwinter Coffee!
For an enjoyable afternoon in the village of Williamsville, walk through Glen Falls Park and then visit Sweet Jenny's Ice Cream. Glen Falls has a beautiful 27-foot waterfall you can see along various walking paths. We have taken our dog, Scout, on several trips here! After walking this park, head over to Sweet Jenny's for some sponge candy or ice cream - Jeff loves the peanut butter pie!
Moor Pat, a bar just off Main Street in Williamsville, is a fun, lively place with craft beer and bar bites. Moor Pat has over 20 beers on tap daily, and you can pair your beer with some house made pizza logs or other snacks. Beyond the food and drinks, Moor Pat is where our relationship started. Starting as a casual night out, our quick drink at Moor Pat turned into a 5 hour long date and eventually the start of our love story. If you haven’t been, go. You never know what — or who — you might find there.
