Getting To & From Airport

It is best not to take a taxi from the airport. Allow the travel agent to arrange affordable shuttle vans to move you from Cancun International Airport (CUN) to the Grand Palladium Resort which is about 1hr 10 minutes drive. When we visited in Jan/Feb 2022, rental cars were limited and local taxis were charging exorbitant rates to go the distance we needed. Coming back to the airport, we did have the resort book us a taxi for about $50USD.

A shuttle runs around the property every 15 minutes so that no matter where your suite is located, you are less than 5 minutes to a shuttle stop to take you all over the property.

Nearby Attractions

While the Grand Palladium offers pontoons, sailing and snorkeling among other activities for free with stay, some may be interested to visit nearby attractions. Jeff & Josue love the following: Xplor Fuego - Ziplining, Amphibious Vehicles, Canoeing through Caves etc. Chichen Itza & Tulum - Mayan Ruins and Cities (can schedule resort pickup to take tours) Playa del Carmen - nearby city (30 minutes away) with downtown walking district with shopping and restaurants Cozumel - nearby island where you can board a ferry in downtown Playa del Carmen to visit; downtown Cozumel is touristy but charming; coral reef in view of the coastline Coco Bongo Show and Disco - A non stop party with amazing impersonations, wild shows and state of the art audio and video equipment
