**Beginning March 15, NYS will allow weddings to occur at limited capacity. Please note that ALL GUESTS must show proof of a negative COVID test or proof of vaccination upon entering the venue.** Thank you all for your patience as we have navigated our wedding date throughout this difficult time. We have decided to postpone our wedding to July 10, 2021 to ensure the safety and health of all our guests. We will send out updated invitations and RSVP cards in the months to come. We cannot wait to celebrate with you all!
In August 2014, Joelle went to visit her brother in Dallas prior to starting her first job after college. Jeff happened to be her brother’s roommate (sorry about that), and they immediately hit it off. A few Blue Moons and episodes of Catfish later, Joelle was texting her friends that she found her husband and would not be returning to New York. She did, however, have to go back, and was thrilled to find a Facebook Message from Jeff immediately after landing. After a few days of Facebook Messaging, they finally exchanged numbers and talked for days on end from across the country. A couple of months later, Jeff was living in New York and they quickly fell in love. Almost five years later, they are living together in Dallas where it all began.
On their four year anniversary, Jeff planned a dinner to celebrate. After three courses of Italian food and a bottle of wine, he suggested taking a walk around a beautiful canal outside the restaurant to "walk it off before having to drive." Joelle suspected nothing, and agreed to go on the walk. During the walk, Jeff talked about how it has been an incredible four years, and he couldn't wait for four more. That's when he got down on one knee, and said four years was not enough, and asked for forever. Joelle obviously said YES!
