How we met:

Jam and Jeff are both Christians and enjoy the farm lifestyle. Jam had been faithfully praying for her future husband for 15+ years, and as a widower Jeff had been seeking the Lord's guidance regarding a spouse. Jam and Jeff were matched on Eharmony, but due to the distance (over 7 hours between Jam in Virginia & Jeff in Alabama), they almost didn't even meet in person. Instead, they focused on building a friendship first for 5+ months by talking online and on the phone and praying together before they finally felt the Lord guiding them to meet despite the distance. Jeff visited Jam in VA first, then she visited Jeff in Alabama, and they began officially courting. They got engaged November 24, 2019. They were married in a very small Christ centered ceremony on July 25, 2020 with fewer than 25 people rather than the 150 guests they had hoped to invite due to guest restrictions due to COVID. Therefore Jam & Jeff look forward to celebrating their wedding vows renewal with family & friends on July 23, 2022 at their farm in Phil Campbell, Alabama.
