Question

Which is the most convenient airport to fly into?

Answer

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is the closest and most convenient airport to fly into for our wedding weekend. This airport is a short drive, less than ten miles from the wedding festivities.

Question

What hotel should I stay at for the wedding weekend?

Answer

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale is the recommended hotel for our wedding weekend. We have secured a room block for our guests with a rate of $629 per night from Friday November 1st through Sunday November 3rd. This hotel is within walking distance to the rehearsal dinner/welcome party on Friday evening, the ceremony/reception on Saturday, as well as the newlywed farewell brunch on Sunday morning. Additionally, we have secured a second room block at Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Beach starting at $269 per night from Thursday October 31st through Wednesday November 6th. This hotel is also within walking distance to all of the weekend's festivities. There are also dozens of other hotels in the immediate area for you to choose from should you like to stay elsewhere during your stay.

Question

What is the weather in Fort Lauderdale like this time of year?

Answer

Located on the south-east coast of Florida, Fort Lauderdale's weather in November is mainly on the mild to warmer side, with warm sea waters that are perfect for swimming. It can also and get somewhat chilly at night.

Question

Where are some places to go and things to do while in Fort Lauderdale during my trip?

Answer

Fort Lauderdale Beach is highly recommended as it is one of the best beaches in the country. If you would like to explore what else the city has to offer, please check out the Things To Do tab on our website. These locations are places that are near and dear to the bride and groom. In addition to this list, we recommend venturing out a few miles to Las Olas Boulevard. There, you will find a neighborhood full of unique shops and restaurants, from everything to local hole in the walls to fine dining and shopping destinations. Another special outing would be a private boat ride through the beautiful canals within the city, where you can even enjoy food and drinks aboard the gondola. No matter what you choose to do in your free time, or where you choose to go should you decide to extend your trip, we know that you will have a memorable experience.
