Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will be at the Guelph Living Word Church in Guelph, and the reception to follow will be at Four Fathers Brewing Co. in the IV Loft space. Please visit the "Schedule" tab on the website for all of the necessary information.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for seating.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see everyone wear their best outfits! Dress to impress.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, parking is available at both the ceremony and reception. There is also street parking if the church parking lot becomes full on any of the neighbouring side streets. Overnight parking at Four Father's is also available (for free)!

Are there hotel accommodations nearby?

Answer

We have a preferred rate at the Cambridge Hotel and Conference Centre. There are also many other hotels + Air BNB options nearby. Hotels book up quickly, so please book your hotel as soon as possible. Please see the "Hotel Information" tab for more details.

Please be careful if you are driving from the ceremony to the reception venue as there is a speed camera (40kms) on Guelph Ave near the school in Cambridge.

What should I get you as a gift?

Answer

If you would like to give us a gift, we would appreciate cash or gift cards to help us start our new life together. We know this may be a challenging ask, but we do have everything we need for our home.

Can I bring my kids?

As much as we love the little ones, this will be an adults-only wedding (ceremony & reception).

Can I bring a plus-one?

We have reserved seating for only those listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Will there be a receiving line after the ceremony?

Answer

We will not be partaking in a receiving line, to keep timelines together, rather, we will be greeting everyone at cocktail hour :)

Can I show up after cocktail hour?

Answer

We highly encourage all guests to arrive between 5:00-5:30pm at the reception so there is no disruption during speeches and other moments throughout the seated portion of the evening.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’d love for you to be present in the moment! Please keep your phones away during the ceremony, but feel free to snap photos during the reception.
