Let the adventure begin!

Emily and Jeff met by a fireplace on the patio of the Brickyard Pub and Eatery in May of 2014, in the company of Jeff's good friends. That night, Jeff knew that he was madly in love with Emily and pursued her for several months with no success. Finally they lost touch for about 3 months and had no hope of rekindling UNTIL, Emily had an extra ticket to a Packer game at Lambeau Field. No true cheesehead will ever turn town tickets to a Packer game, even after mild heartbreak. Receiving the call at 8 am, Jeff chugged the two breakfast beers he had ordered at the Brickyard and they went to the game with some friends, rekindling a friendship of their own. Jeff and Emily continued their friendship through the months while Emily traveled through Latin America. Then daily FaceTime calls became a new norm for the couple. Once Emily landed back in the states in June of 2015, the pair was inseparable and the rest is history....

Only 7 short months after their rekindled friendship, turned love, the pair had fallen pregnant with their first son. In January 2016, Jeff and Emily had left a Christmas party early and promised to "be right back". That was around 9:30 PM and the two never ended up making it back. Five short weeks later and a missed visit from Aunt Flo, the lives of the two would be changed forever and the bond would be forever strengthened.

The proposal happened on 8-14-16 just 6 weeks before Atlas was due to enter the world. Emily and Jeff had attended a baby shower in Colorado and decided to take night to go camping in the Rockies. After seeing a giant bullhead moose and taking a scenic hike, a very pregnant Emily plopped herself in a camping chair for a much needed rest. This was when it happened. Out of no where, Emily sees a ring box come from behind her head and in front of her face. The voice of the man she loves said "So, should we do this or what?". Honestly there isn't a more "Jeff" proposal out there.

Finally the time has come to tie up the loose ends! Another son, Wilder was brought into the world March of 2018. Emily is graduating from college in May of 2020 and they are finally ready to seal the deal! 4 years of engagement and the wedding is coming in 2020! Cheers to more years!
