What COVID-19 regulations exist in SF?

Answer

San Francisco is requiring proof of vaccination to enter ANY bar or restaurant in the city. A picture of a vaccination card & an ID matching the card will work at most places, but some will only accept the physical card. Additionally, masks are required in all indoor commercial spaces (grocery stores, malls, etc..)

How do I get to the Saturday lunch event at Spark Social SF?

Answer

Walking: It's a 25-30 minute walk from the SF Marriott Marquis & Intercontinental Hotels (where most folks are staying) Lyft & Uber: There should be plenty of supply for Lyft & Uber in the area. Public Transit: The KT line (above ground train) will take ~30 minutes. The closest stop to Spark is the Mission Rock stop. There is a more direct bus route via the 15 line, the closest stop to Spark is "3rd Street & Gene Friend way" on UCSF medical campus. Public transit in SF can be... interesting, so take at your own risk!

What precautions is the Saturday event venue taking for COVID-19?

What precautions are you taking for COVID-19?

Answer

For the safety of our guests and event staff, we are asking all attendees to be either fully vaccinated or to get tested for COVID-19 prior to attending the wedding. While guests will not be explicitly checked for proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test, this is a requirement of our venue at this time and we hope all our guests will follow this requirement in good faith. If this makes you uncomfortable and you do not wish to attend we fully understand.

Where can I watch the Michigan Football game on 9/4?

University of Michigan (Go Blue!) Football kicks off their season on 9/4 at 9am PT. Underdogs Tres (1224 9th Ave, San Francisco, CA 94122) is the official Michigan Alumni bar in San Francisco. They will be open at 9am, will have food, and have a large outdoor patio in back.

San Francisco International airport (SFO) is 15-20 minutes from downtown SF. Oakland International Airport (OAK) is 25-30 minutes from downtown SF.
