This is a fully outdoor wedding, so please dress accordingly! Sonoma can get HOT in the summertime, though temperatures tend to dip at night. We recommend you bring sunscreen and layers.
Thankfully, most of you wonderful guests are vaccinated at this point. YAY! Thanks for keeping yourself and our community safe, it makes this possible! That being said, if you prefer to wear a mask we encourage you to do what feels right. We will additionally have plenty of hand sanitizer in common areas and on every table. We trust you all to do your part to keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible.
Please do what feels right to you. If you are uncomfortable attending, know that it won't hurt our feelings. You can celebrate with us from afar! We will feel your love and support no matter what.
If you're not vaccinated, we kindly ask that you take a Covid test 3 days prior to attending the wedding festivities and take precautions to prevent exposure between the time your test and negative result. We recommend that you follow CDC guidelines around prevention, managing risk, testing, and travel: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/travel-during-covid19.html
Sorry, we do love kids (we both work with them every day!), but our nieces and nephews will be the only kids in attendance. Thanks for understanding! In need of a babysitter? Check out Care.com!
The closest towns to Sonoma that you might look at are Petaluma and Santa Rosa. If you want to make it a wine weekend, look towards Napa, Saint Helena, Calistoga, or Healdsburg! Please note that if you're staying in another town, many of the roads leading to Sonoma are single lane and there an be a lot of rush hour traffic as well as wine tasting traffic. Give yourself at least an hour if traveling from any of these locations just in case ;)
Yes! If you're planning to party it up however, maybe plan to Lyft/Uber/Cab...
