Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat

What time should I arrive?

Answer

If you are not staying at the Black Stallion, we recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled. Trolley services will be starting at 4:30pm.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Parking is free. If you are not staying at the the Black Stallion. Parking at the Currituck Club will be reserved for our guest and trolley services will be provided to transport you to the ceremony site & to the reception.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors on the Currituck Club Golf course (sound-side, hole 7). The reception will be hosted at the Black Stallion Event Home outside. May is an unpredictable time of year to determine weather. Please be sure to check your weather report prior to our big day!

How will I be transported to the ceremony & reception?

Answer

All guest need to park in the Currituck Club parking lot and meet at the front of the Currituck Club’s main entrance. Trolley services will be provided to escort you to the ceremony site & to the reception. *Note: If you are staying at the Black Stallion, more information we will be provided to you upon your check-in. Stay tuned!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception (The Black Stallion Event Home) where we will be serving finger foods and cocktails/beverages. Trolley service will be provided.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. However, we will have a babysitter on-site should you need this service. Please reach out to Danielle/Jeff for more information.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please RSVP by March 7, 2021 on-line. If you are unable to do this, please reach out to Danielle/Jeff directly and we will ensure you are accounted for :)

Where are you registered?

Answer

We would prefer your presence rather than your presents! As we are so lucky to have a home together, we have decided not to request wedding gifts/contribution towards our honeymoon. However, we have put together a small “registry” on our website if you wish to gift us.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
