What should I wear?

Answer

Business casual. Button up shirts for men, preferably with at least a tie. Dresses or jumpsuits for women. The ceremony is in a vineyard and the reception is in a barn in August so be prepared for heat. As for shoes, you'll need to able able to walk on grass, gravel and barn floor.

How "farm" is Black Star Farms?

If you are allergic to horses or sheep, you may want to take an allergy pill before you come!

Can I take pictures or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony so we ask that no phones, iPad, cameras, etc. be used during our ceremony. We promise to share the professional photos and videos from our photographers and videographers. Once the ceremony is over and the celebrations begin, please feel free to take photos at the cocktail hour and reception.

Can I bring a guest?

If your invitation says "and guest" then yes, if not then we are expecting it to be just you.

I have food allergy/dietary restrictions, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely. We just ask that you get in touch with either the bride or groom as soon as possible and we would be more than happy to accommodate you!
