First class ever at Andrews University as a transfer student, Jeff walked into Anatomy class and saw the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. He also noticed she was in his history class sitting towards the back. The next day Jeff came in late so he could sit in the back of the class and struck up a conversation. Every day over the next semester he walked her to her next class. In the Spring we were put as lab partners in anatomy. The rest is history. We have been together for about 8 years now.

Jeff and I were visiting some dear friends in Hawaii. For the 9 millionth hike we went on, we had to kayak out to the island we were going to climb. We had a double kayak, but the whole time Jeff was just taking pictures and calling people and sending videos while I paddled us the whole way. I was so annoyed! Finally we made it to the island and climbed up. Adam (our friend we were visiting) starting pointing out waves and talking about surfing. Then Joyce suggested Jeff and I take a picture together. So we go stand on this rock and I turn the other way for one second, and when I turn back around Jeff was down on one knee. I was so happy I forgot all about the not paddling thing. Do you know what Jeff did the whole way back? Not paddle.
