Getting to Timberline Lodge

Getting to Timberline Lodge Our wedding will be held at the beautiful Timberline Lodge on the south side of Mount Hood. From Portland International Airport (PDX): Approximately 60 miles from the airport Allow 1.5–2 hours of driving time, depending on traffic and weather The route follows Highway 26 through Sandy and Government Camp before climbing the final stretch to Timberline Lodge Mountain Driving Even in spring, mountain weather can change quickly. We recommend checking road conditions before traveling and allowing extra time for your drive. Guests traveling during winter months should be prepared for snow and chain requirements if conditions warrant. Rental Cars A rental car is the easiest way to reach Timberline Lodge and explore the Mount Hood area. Most major rental companies operate from PDX.
