We're Getting Married!

Jeff and Camille met 8 years ago on a dating app called Bumble. From the moment Camille saw Jeff, she thought he looked much better than his profile picture! He was super introverted, which isn't usually her type since she's more outgoing. This worked out well for Jeff though as Bumble requires the female to send the first message. Their first time meeting in person, Jeff met Camille at her bartending Job at Bertucci’s. She was still working and in her bartending outfit but looked more beautiful than Jeff had expected. After getting off work they went to the local Bar Louie in Gainesville, where they asked the usual first-date questions. Thinking Jeff was disinterested, not knowing that he was just introverted, Camille figured she would ask a very controversial question, keep in mind it was January 2017, and asked who he voted for in the 2016 election. She thought if she was going to sit through a date where this guy isn't interested in her she might as well have fun and ask a controversial question. He was initially taken aback by the question on a first date, but it initiated a fun conversation where they got to know each other better. Because of Jeffs introverted nature, the night wrapped up with him giving Camille “an awkward side hug” to which she was left thinking, “Well, that’s that”. So, you can imagine her surprise when, a couple of hours later, she received a text saying he "had a great time." She was genuinely shocked, but pleased… and honestly, she needed some Ikea furniture built. Jeff came over to put together her desk, and according to Camille's family, he just never left. They ended up hanging out every day for weeks, and somewhere along the way, it went from casual to something much more. He’d stay for dinner, they’d binge-watch shows, and before they knew it, they were making plans for the future. Soon, they moved in together, and Jeff built more Ikea furniture than Camille can count (she swears, he could do it in his sleep!). They adopted a fur baby and traveled to places like London, Italy, and Hawaii—each trip adding to their growing list of cherished memories. After years of Camille asking, "When are we getting married?" Jeff finally went down on one knee in their apartment. They were playing a card game that asks intimate questions for couples, and it sparked a conversation about the past 7 years of dating—about all the fun memories they’ve made, moving in together, taking trips, and growing through tough times but always staying by each other's side. In that private, quiet moment, Jeff asked Camille to marry him, and her heart couldn’t have been fuller. They've shared so many incredible moments, but this one—their wedding—is the most exciting chapter yet.
