Our story starts at St. John Fisher College where we first met. After graduation, Jeff reached out to Bethany, and so began our love story. Fast forward to 2020... A pandemic hit, Bethany packed a bag and went to Buffalo to "quarantine" with Jeff for a few weeks. A few weeks turned into a few months, and during that time Jeff and Bethany realized that they never wanted to be apart again. After a lot of planning, multiple U-Haul rentals, and unwavering support from family and friends, Bethany officially became a Buffalonian. After few gentle reminders from Bethany (and every single one of her friends), Jeff decided it was time to make it official. One afternoon when Bethany was in Rochester visiting friends, Jeff jumped in the car to go meet with Karen and Bob. He worked up the courage to ask their permission to propose and they were ecstatic! It was go time...Jeff planned the most special proposal, and it was a moment we both won't ever forget. In our home with just the two of us, Jeff got down on one knee and said some really sweet things that Bethany can't recall because she was too busy jumping around/screaming/laughing/crying. From what she can remember... it was perfect. After enjoying the moment with each other, in walked our friends and family for a surprise engagement party, which Jeff never would have been able to pull off alone (shout out to the people who made it all possible... you know who you are!) It was the perfect day from start to finish and a great way to officially start our life together. Although 2020 was a tough year, our silver lining was that it brought us so much closer together and helped us realize we don't want to do life with anyone else. We are so excited to become husband and wife in front of all of our favorite people. You all mean the world to us and we can't wait to celebrate with you! Cheers, Bethany & Jeff
