Things To Do

Those of you traveling from out of state may wish to see some of the sights before or after the big day. The Seattle Center houses some of Seattle's most famous attractions like the Space Needle, Chihuly Glass Museum, and The Museum of Pop Culture (MoPop). There are plenty of fun sites to visit around town, some of our favorites are listed below.

Space Needle

Seattle, WA

Iconic Seattle location with views of the city.

Pike Place Market

85 Pike Street, Seattle, WA 98101

Famous farmer's market, just don't call it Pike's Place. Local produce, flowers, and of course the iconic fish throwers. Don't skip the lower levels full of unique boutique shops. Tip, don't try to park on Pike Pl alley. There is a garage just west of the market on Western Ave.

Seattle Aquarium

1483 Alaskan Way Pier 59, Seattle, WA 98101

Fun aquarium focusing on marine life in the Pacific Northwest, recently expanded to include a new Ocean Pavilion.

The Museum of Flight

9404 East Marginal Way S., Seattle, WA 98108

The Museum of Flight is the largest independent, non-profit air and space museum in the world! With over 175 aircraft and spacecraft, tens of thousands of artifacts, millions of rare photographs, dozens of exhibits and experiences and a world-class library, the museum and its people bring mankind's incredible history of flight to life.

Chihuly Garden and Glass

Seattle, WA

Famous glass blowing artist Dale Chihuly known for his unique style.

Ballard (Hiram M. Chittenden) Locks

3015 NW 54th St, Seattle, WA 98107

One of our favorite places to hang out and one of early date locations. Watch the boats transition between Lake Union and the Puget Sound.

Snoqualmie Falls

6501 Railroad Ave SE, Snoqualmie, WA 98024

Large waterfall near the wedding venue. Easy access to the viewing platform, plus a walking trail for the more adventurous. Also close to the Snoqualmie railroad museum.

Seattle Ferry Terminal

801 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA 98104

Take a ferry ride! The Washington State Ferries have played a big role in our relationship living on opposite sides of the water for so long. Consider taking the ferry to Bainbridge Island, it's about a 35-minute crossing and Bainbridge has great shopping, food, and waterfront views.
