Our Story

Abbey and Jeff met at Bloomsburg in April 2014. They were doing community service and Abbey wanted Jeff's attention, so she tried to pour a bucket of dirty water on his head. Hey, it worked.

They really hit it off. Only problem was, Jeff was about to graduate and Abbey was still a freshman. Still, the summer of 2014 was spent having fun at the Franklin Institute and more.

Jeff found a job in Bloomsburg so he could stay close to Abbey. They both loved going to Bloomsburg staples: karaoke at G.O.D.s, trivia at West End, and breakfast at the Bloomsburg Diner.

Abbey finally graduated in May 2017. Both excited and nervous about the future, they made plans to move in together.

Abbey and Jeff took their first major trip together in May 2017. They went all across Arizona, including the Grand Canyon.

Once they moved into their first apartment in Spring City, PA, they adopted their first kitty Rey in September 2017.

Abbey and Jeff wanted to move down to Philadelphia to start new careers and see if they liked living in the city. They moved in May 2020 and spent an uncertain pandemic going back to grad school.

They adopted their second kitty Mando in January 2021. Rey was unsure if she liked her new baby bro (...and she still is).

In May 2022, Abbey and Jeff purchased their home in South Philly. They looked forward to the new chapter and all the memories they would make with friends and family. The cats loved their new home.

They also welcomed their niece, Kassidy, in August 2022! An exciting addition to their family made them think more seriously about their future.

After more serious talks about getting married, Abbey and Jeff went ring shopping in April 2023.

The couple celebrated their 10 year anniversary in April 2024 with a tasty dinner at River Twice in Philadelphia. They both knew it wouldn't be much longer until they got engaged.

Abbey and Jeff took a trip to Copenhagen in September 2024. There, Jeff proposed in the royal library gardens. It was an unbelievable experience and the highlight of their trip!
