We met on Valentine's Day, Jeff was out with a friend helping her get over a recent break-up; Rob was out with a friend from school. As luck would have it both groups ended up at The Dark Lady, a popular bar in Providence, it was here Rob first spotted Jeff dancing on top of a speaker in his "Calvins", pants around his ankles. In a fortunate twist of fate our two friends knew each other and it was through his friend that a VERY shy Rob asked to get my information. That night we introduced ourselves to each other and planned a date the following week. After our first date we almost immediately planned a second for the next day and from that point on we were pretty inseparable.

We were on our annual Halloween trip in Mexico at one of our favorite beach clubs. We decided to take a walk around and look at the different shops and do a little exploring. At the end of the shops I told Rob I wanted to take a look further down the beach line beyond where all the guests were. As we walked I let Rob take the lead until we came to a little clearing, I gave him a pinch on his butt and as he turned around I was down on one knee, Rob gave a little laugh and said "YES, of course I will." and with that we were engaged. We are so excited to celebrate out next chapter with everyone!
