We met through mutual friends, and for a year afterward, people kept encouraging us to give it a shot. We really clicked at a friend’s wedding, where we shared our locations that weekend—Jeemini for 24 hours, and DK indefinitely (we love a transparent king). On his drive home, DK didn’t waste any time asking Jeemini out. After their first date, they saw each other nearly every day for a week. During that week, Jeemini learned something very important about DK through Find My Friends—he's always at 1 of 3 places: home, the gym, or with her. This made Jeemini very happy. The nearly three years leading up to their engagement were filled with sushi dates, trips, and unwavering support for each other. Even with both working full time, they stayed driven in their individual endeavours—DK completing actuarial exams and picking up jiu-jitsu, and Jeemini growing as a Pilates instructor and mentor. Despite their schedules, they remained deeply committed to each other, making the time they had together all the more special. We are incredibly lucky to have started writing our story with such a supportive circle and can't wait to celebrate the start to our forever with the same friends and family who've been with us since the beginning.
