Please RSVP by August 1st, 2024.
No. We are exchanging vows in a private ceremony in July. This is a celebratory reception that will include dinner, drinks, and lots of dancing.
The reception is on September 21st, 2024 at Wit Cellars in Prosser, WA. The event starts at 4pm and will be held outside on Wit's beautiful back patio. The first few hours will be open for socializing, drinks, and games, so please feel free to arrive anytime between 4-6pm.
Unfortunately, no. As much as we love & adore all of your little ones, we are asking that kids be left at home so this can be an adults only event. We appreciate your understanding.
Your invitation & RSVP will specify which 'guests' are invited to the reception & whether or not you've been given a plus one. We appreciate your understanding with this as we did our best to include as many people as possible while still keeping this intimate & within our budget. If you think we've made a mistake or have any questions, please reach out to us ASAP.
4pm: Drinks, Appetizers & Lawn Games 630pm: Dinner, Speeches & First Dance 830pm: Cake 9pm: Party Time
The majority of the event will be taking place outside on Wit's back patio which will be open to reception guests only. Wit's indoor tasting room will be open to the public until 6pm, after which the entire property will be of exclusive use by reception guests.
We are asking our guests to please dress in semi-formal/garden party attire. Essentially, dressy and nice, but not too formal. Prosser in September is typically beautiful & warm, with daytime highs in the low 80s/high 70s, and cool, comfortable evenings. We do however recommend bringing a jacket for the evening hours as Washington weather is always so unpredictable.
As of right now, we do not have a shuttle planned for the event, but will send out correspondence if that changes. Prosser is a very small town, and most hotels/lodging options are less than a mile from the venue. It's important to note that Prosser does not have Ubers, Lyfts or taxi services available. We recommend driving (or walking) to the venue, and then walking back to your room at the end of the night (if you've been drinking). The venue has a 0 tolerance policy for anyone attempting to drive after they've been drinking. Venue staff have offered to provide rides at the end of the night to anyone staying in Prosser that is unable to walk for whatever reason. Rides will not be provided to those staying in any other outlying cities/areas so please plan accordingly. Cars can be left at the venue overnight and picked up anytime Sunday.
