Our favorite place to get oysters in town when you don't want to drive 2 hours to the seaside. They also have great burgers if you're not feeling seafood.

Bird's Aphrodisiac Oyster Shack

A great park to visit with many walking, biking & dog-walking trails.

J. R. Alford Greenway

Another park with a modern touch filled with trails that leads to a man-made waterfall, park and fountains.

Cascades Park

A beautiful ornamental garden with nature trails. You may also be able to catch the flowers in their peak bloom during April.

Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park
