Things To Do

Voodoo Doughnut

22 Southwest 3rd Avenue, Portland, OR 97204

The original location started by dear friends of Jedediah and Natasha, Cat Daddy and Tres.

Powell's City of Books

1005 West Burnside Street, Portland, OR 97209

The oldest and largest independent bookstore in the world. If you're a book lover, set aside a few hours to truly enjoy this spot.

Multnomah Falls

53010 E Historic Columbia River Hwy, Corbett, OR 97019

A short, easy hike for the less experienced hiker and you can still enjoy the beautiful experience of Oregon's bounty... On the drive out or in, take the old scenic highway and immerse yourself in the Colombia Gorge's beauty. Pre-purchase a parking pass if you plan to venture out. Scenic points to watch out for along the drive; Crown Point and Horsetail Falls.

International Rose Test Garden

400 Southwest Kingston Avenue, Portland, OR 97205

May be slightly early for the roses to be blooming, but this collection features some strains of roses over a hundred years old. At the time of writing this, it seems some early blooms may be showing by early May, but Portland springs are full of surprises.

Portland Japanese Garden

611 Southwest Kingston Avenue, Portland, OR 97205

Neighboring the rose gardens, they feature gorgeous plants that highlight the city sisterhoods between Oregon and Japan.

Bar Maven

6219 Southeast Foster Road, Portland, OR 97206

The spot where Jedediah and Natasha first met. Upon entry, the corner of the bar are their preferred seats and for a special touch, you can ask any of the bartender for their signature drinks.

Huber's Cafe

411 Southwest 3rd Avenue, Portland, OR 97204

Portland's oldest bar and restaurant. Famous for their tableside Spanish Coffee experience, they serve American Classic, top notch dinners and were recently featured in Raging Midlife (keep an eye out for an especially handsome Viking and Paula Abdul)

Oregon Zoo

4001 Southwest Canyon Road, Portland, OR 97221

A wonderful, walkable Zoo experience, it features many PNW gems as well as the fresh baby elephant Tula-Tu (born February 1, 2025)

For all the days along the way
