Savannah and Jed first met in fall 2021 at a Baylor Fine Arts LLC event for freshman arts majors. While Savannah doesn't remember the first meeting, Jed remembers it vividly and finds it endlessly amusing. They became close friends through their friend group, bonding over ping pong, movies, and late-night conversations. On February 5th, 2022, after a cold night and a beautiful dinner, Jed asked Savannah to be his girlfriend. What followed was a relationship that would grow in love and trust, filled with more laughter and joy than either of them could have imagined. On July 2nd, 2025, Jed cleverly disguised his proposal as a family trip to Mustang Island in Corpus Christi, a place close to savannah’s heart. After a fun, sunburnt few days, Jed slipped away with his sister and left Savannah with the film he spent weeks creating. A beautiful tribute to their relationship, filled their favorite memories, dates, and inside jokes. It led her straight to the beach, where Jed was waiting surrounded by rubber ducks (despite his well-known feelings about them) and proposed! We are so excited to celebrate and share this special moment with our family, friends, and community. We cannot wait to see y’all there! :)
