Here's the quick and easy story of how Jed & Joy met. Mutual friends (Kim & Matt) had been telling both of them separately that they should meet. Joy finally asked Kim to set something up after seeing Jed at Kaladi Brothers (a local coffee shop). Within minutes Kim sent out a text inviting a small group over for dinner and games the next night. It's at that dinner that Joy & Jed met for the first time. Thanks for the great Lasagna, Kim!

Both Jed and Joy knew for a while that a proposal would be coming. Joy was 7 months pregnant with Raella when the official question and the ring became a part of the story. Jed had the ring for some time and just before leaving for a Moose hunt, he popped "the question" after taking Dezi dog on a walk together at Kenai Lake. His original plan was to ask her by the river, but the smell of rotting spawned out salmon was a little much. Kenai Lake ended up being the spot. It was perfect!
