It all started with a poke. Haha. Just wait til you jump to conclusions. I was sitting at work one night when Jed poked Me on Facebook. We began messaging then began texting. Finally we met up and hung out. It was like we have known each other forever. After that we were inseparable. I can't imagine my life without this guy.
How lucky is this date? Is it destined? Jed asked me to be his Girlfriend on the luckiest day of year. As many of you know Jed acts as if he is a rather "unromantic" well this is the last word to describe this night. I came home from work and he had candles all over the house and a sign the read "will you be my Girlfriend?" How could you say No to that!? It's straight out of a love story. Am I right?
If you know me, you know that July 4th is my favorite holiday. So Jed tried his best to get as close as possible. Bless his heart considering the holiday no one would do it on the actual 4th. The whole thing was disguised as Peaster Family Pictures. Me who was dreading the whole day Jed was rather optimistic (which was weird since he hates taking pictures). So we went out to city lake and began to take pictures. Then it was mine and Jed's turn. Trying to figure out how to pose Jed said "i want to take a picture like this." He got down on one knee he was kinda laughing. So me knowing how jed is I thought he was joking! I was telling him "No. No. No." "this isn't a funny joke." Then Jed pulled out the ring and I immediately started bawling cause it started become real. Then he asked me to marry him. Well here I am sobbing like a baby. (Happy tears) I obviously said " YES" or you wouldn't be reading this today. It was in my mind the best way it could of happened. Around my favorite holiday and around family. So excited to have Jed along side me for this crazy ride called Life!
