Flight
UPDATE: The Aspen Airport is closed from May 6-23rd due to airport maintenance so flying directly into Aspen is no longer an option. The Denver Airport is about 3.5-4 hours away from Aspen by car. Having this as our only option is not ideal, but the drive is really beautiful. At this time of year, driving through the seasonal route, Independence Pass, will be closed. We recommend driving through Glenwood Canyon on I-70 west and then south on HWY 82 to Aspen. There should also be a shuttle option from the Denver Airport into Aspen. We will post more information about this soon.
Travel Note
To and from the airport, we recommend taking the Aspen High Mountain Taxi since ride share cars are sparse. Fortunately, the condos are located a couple of blocks from the bus stop (it's not far up the hill but speaking from experience, the elevation might make it feel like a micro hike). The bus system in Aspen is free! It will be able to take you around town and even into Snowmass and the surrounding areas if you're interested in exploring the area. Walking around town is also very safe. The most dangerous thing you'll encounter are bears. They're usually not around, but occasionally, you can find them taking a stroll through town.
House Or Rental
This condo is 3 bedrooms with 3 en-suite bathrooms. It's at the top of the hill (on The Little Nell side) approximately a 4 minute walk from the main bus stop in downtown Aspen and there's shared access to a heated pool and hot tub.
House Or Rental
This condo is 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths and is approximately a 2 minute walk up the hill (on the St. Regis side) from Rubey Park (main bus stop in town). Each bedroom has their own en-suite bathroom and there's shared access to a heated pool and hot tub. The two airbnbs are a 1-2 min walk away from each other and we'll be staying here as well!
