It all started with a trip to Colorado for our friends' wedding. Jeb went to paramedic school with the groom in Maryland, and Sara grew up with the bride in Mississippi. They invited a group of us to stay at their rental house in the mountains, so we could hang out before the wedding. A mishap with a coconut led to our first meaningful interaction, and we spent the rest of the week getting to know each other (and if we're being honest, flirting). After the wedding, we said our goodbyes and went back to our lives - Jeb in Elkridge, Maryland and Sara in Memphis, TN. Jeb, however, was not deterred by the 900 miles between us, and reached back out a couple of days later. We have talked literally every day since. For the first year and a half, we did the long-distance thing - lots of phone calls, video chats, and trips back and forth. Then Sara finally caved and agreed to move to MD (sorry Mom!). We settled in. Jeb took his sweet time proposing but made it worth the wait by popping the question with the most beautiful ring and gorgeous backdrop in the Finger Lakes. These days, we're looking forward to starting our next adventure as husband and wife and can't wait to celebrate with all our friends and family. P.S. Huge shout out to Eli and Katie Kelehan!
