What do guests have access to at Snowshoe?

Answer

All guests are deemed Snowshoe resort visitors. Check the THINGS TO DO page, which provides the most up-to-date information. Guests will have lift passes & access to the SplitRock pool, among other activities.

Can I take & post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, but we are asking for an unplugged wedding ceremony. We are in a sacred space, worship service, & want you to be fully present during that time. So, we ask for no cellphones during that time. Afterward, let the phones flare! We encourage you to post pictures on your social media channels. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag (#TheFutureTuckwillers) so we can keep track!

Will the ceremony & reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both will be indoors. The cocktail hour will mostly be spent on a heated balcony outside the reception room. The floors are heated, & there are heaters above, as well.

Is there transportation to & from the hotel to the service?

Answer

Yes, both locations. The shuttle will run on Saturday from 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM between St. Bernard's Chapel & Corduroy Inn (one mile apart) to escort all guests to the wedding ceremony. Limited parking is available at St. Bernard's Chapel.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think of dresses, pantsuits, suit & tie or sports coat. We want you to feel comfortable but look your best.

Are the ceremony & reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, both locations. Please notify us if accommodations need to be made; spaces are reserved for specific guests & individuals.

Friday 8:30 AM Golf at the Raven (tee times reserved for interested parties, contact MRT) 8:00 PM Welcome Cocktails at Tuque's (all are welcome) Sunday 8:00 AM Brunch at Tuque's (all welcome, RSVP for headcount) We will be onsite by Wednesday, so you are welcome to come in advance if you are looking for an extended vacation at a resort.

Will food & drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes, both. The food options are listed below: 1. Roasted Filet of Beef, wild mushrooms, whipped potatoes, asparagus, red wine demi-glace 2. Boursin Stuffed Chicken, asiago risotto, sautéed broccolini, citrus cream sauce 3. Crispy Brussel Sprouts, spiced cashews, wild mushroom risotto, mirin glaze (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) 4. There is a kids option available.

Zola, Target, & Amazon. All items are available through our Zola registry page, but you can still access the others on their respective sites.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

The host hotel, Corduroy Inn, is now full. We recommend using the Airbnb link (link on the TRAVEL page) or CALLing Casago (304.572.2121). All wedding events except the ceremony will occur at Corduroy Inn & are reserved for the weekend.

During July, the average daytime high temperatures are 71° due to the summit elevation of 4,848’. There will likely be days of rain & sun.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Yes, the vegetarian option meets all requirements. We, HIGHLY, recommend it! It is Crispy Brussel Sprouts, spiced cashews, wild mushroom risotto in a mirin glaze. Let us know if you need any other specific diet options.

The RSVP deadline was June 1st. Please make sure to RSVP for the Sunday brunch online.

What are we doing regarding COVID-19 restrictions?

All guests are fully vaccinated (if eligible). If you have concerns, please reach out to us.

Are children invited?

Answer

Y'all know how much we love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time & leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

We have a strict guest list due to venue size. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on the invitation.
