Best Friends for Eternity

It was the first class session of Accounting 101 when Jeb saw Katie walk in the room... He had trouble keeping his cool. Katie, apparently, felt the same way. They became instant friends as they were paired to do their first attempts at creating a financial ledger, and the rest is history. They both attest that it was the first time in both of their college careers that they ever had perfect attendance.

It is no secret that Jeb and Katie are infatuated with each-other. Anyone who has spent any time with them, has seen this first hand. Their love for one and another is much deeper though; they actually crave each-other's company. They are a team, and that is how they approach every aspect of their lives together. They are both in awe of the other, and are so proud of who they are as a couple, friends, and parents. They are just as happy at a party as they are doing movie nights together with their three children, Sophia, Cole, and Wes. Jeb attests that he has the biggest crush on Katie, and Katie, a very independent woman, can not stand being apart from Jeb; she even lets him drive.

Getting to spend the rest of my life with Jeb is a dream come true. This man has always been someone that I not only loved, but respected and admired since the first day that i met him. From crushing on him in class, to sitting on the porch watching a thunderstorms, chatting by a bonfire looking for shooting stars, long car rides, to making a game out of unloading the groceries, I am in awe at how completely happy I am whenever we are together. This is the man who can make me smile and laugh even when I am frantically running around the kitchen getting ready for a holiday. He is the hardest working man I have ever met, and he does it every day with a smile on his face that lets you know that he's happy and proud to do it. he is always happy to lend a helping hand to anyone who is in need because he has the biggest heart. as a friend Jeb is the kind of person that can light up a room and bring happiness and comfort to anyone no matter what situation he finds himself in. as an uncle/brother/son he shows his amazing character in his pride and loyalty to everyone who is lucky enough to be part of his tribe. as a father he is always there with warm hugs, help with math or finding waldo, special daddy pancakes, epic skateboard and snowboarding lessons, a silly dad joke, a fun trip to the zoo/beach/hike in the woods, or just a patient ear when they need to talk. As a partner he is always there with a positive outlook and supportive attitude every day. I have never trusted, appreciated, or loved anyone this way and I feel so fortunate and proud that he has chosen me to grow old with. I can't wait for forever with this man; sailing through life side by side and all of the adventures that we have on the horizon. My sun and stars, my best friend, my crush, my husband.

Kate is my hero, our daughters hero and a role model to so many people that know her. Everyday she amazes me. She is the hardest working person I know, yet she can party even harder. She loves a good storm, and in fact, that is what started our relationship many moons ago. I have never cared about, loved, and worshiped anyone or thing, the way I do her. She is the most loyal person I have ever met. She truly cares about every person in her life, which is why she deserves the world. Her positive nature and natural beauty makes her the perfect catch, and her heart and caring for our children and our future makes her the perfect match for me. One would also be hard-pressed to find anyone as genuine as Kate; when you meet her for the first time, you instantly feel special and important to her. Kate is a wonderful host, making people feel welcome the second they walk in... and damn she can cook; just look at what it has done to my waste line. She often will get to know people and say to me, "I want to be her when I grow up", yet there are so many people that say the exact same thing about her. So, in closing: Dear Kate, I am so lucky to be marrying you, you are my world. I am so proud to be the one you chose, and I have the biggest crush on you. Never change! Your beauty, spirit and positive nature makes me speechless on a daily basis. You are an amazing mother, friend, daughter and teammate. Thank you for taking a chance on me... I promise to prove you right on a daily basis, because you deserve everything.
