Q&A

The Wedding Website of Brittany Gayle Walsh and Jeb Avery Wilcox
Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we'll be offering an open bar, providing complimentary drinks for all of our guests throughout the celebration. We want everyone to raise a glass and enjoy the evening with us! With that being said—PLEASE Uber, Lyft, or designate a sober driver if you plan to drink. Drink responsibly and plan ahead.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes! We've created a wedding registry to help make gift-giving easy and fun. You'll find all the details conveniently located on the Registry page of our wedding website.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We adore your children!! However, due to space limitations and requirements by the venue, this celebration will be limited to children in the wedding party and family. We encourage parents to take the opportunity to enjoy a night out!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We kindly request that you respect our guest list as we have carefully planned our wedding within our venue's capacity and budget constraints. The online RSVP will reflect whether a +1 is included. We appreciate your understanding and promise you won’t be dancing alone!

Question

What is the recipe card for?

Answer

In place of a traditional guestbook, we are asking our guests to share a favorite recipe with us—whether it’s a personal or family favorite. We love the idea of filling our home with recipes from the people we love most and creating memories in the kitchen for years to come!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 5:00pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony, no sooner than 30 minutes early, to get parked and settled. Plus, the bride and groom have a special group playing music that you’ll get to enjoy as you wait inside!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We've chosen to have a fully unplugged ceremony, with professional photographers capturing every precious moment. We kindly ask that guests put away their cameras and phones, allowing us to be fully present and create beautiful, unobstructed memories of our ceremony. During the reception, though, we encourage taking all the photos and videos and share with the bride and groom!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’re going for a fun, festive cocktail vibe! Think cocktail dresses, dressy skirts, jumpsuits, or suits and sport coats. Feel free to have fun with colors, patterns, and accessories—we love a good excuse to dress up. While we want everyone comfortable, this is a great night to leave the everyday casual wear at home. Please skip the jeans, t-shirts, and athletic wear. Dress to celebrate and get ready for a great party!

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your RSVP by JUNE 1st so we can plan accordingly! If you need to change your RSVP after June 1st, please let Brittany know ASAP and change it on the RSVP page!
