We do not have any color restrictions. Recommended guest attire for each event below: Tea ceremony: guest attire includes semi-formal attire and traditional ao dai dresses. Ceremony: Mass dress Reception: At Vietnamese weddings, some guests choose to change attire from mass dress at the ceremony to nighttime semiformal/cocktail attire at the reception. At our wedding, guests are welcome to do so, but this is by no means a requirement!
Both the ceremony and reception are indoors. The reception venue will have an outdoor cocktail area. Of note, the reception venue is approximately 30-40 minutes from Boise. Please give yourself ample time to arrive to the celebration!
Plenty of parking is available at the ceremony and reception venue. For guests with mobility issues, the reception venue has provided a golf cart to transport to and from the parking lot to the reception location.
There will be a gap of time between the church ceremony and reception as is common for Vietnamese weddings. We encourage you to explore Boise, grab a bite, take a nap, or change into your party attire during this time!
We will be serving from four stations: Vietnamese, Basque, Idaho, and Grains. There will be vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options available.
We will be serving an open bar of wine, beer, seltzers, and signature cocktails. Cheers!
In anticipation of future moves with the military, we are choosing to limit our accumulation of physical items. The most important thing for us is your presence to celebrate our marriage, however, if you do want to make a gesture, there is a honeymoon fund on our website and there will be a card box for envelopes/gifts at the wedding as per Vietnamese tradition.
We look forward to celebrating with you! As healthcare professionals, safety during the pandemic is of the utmost importance to us. Please be aware that for the safety of our guests, we kindly ask that all who attend be vaccinated for COVID-19. If vaccination is not possible, please take a test within 3 days before attending. We have home test kits on hand should anyone need!
