We will be having a dessert table and would love for it to be a potluck! You do NOT have to bring or make any desserts if you are not local, because we understand that would be a hassle to try and make or find something when you are staying in a hotel or don't know the area. If you are local, we would love for you to make cookies! It can be anything you'd like, for example if you have traditional Christmas cookie recipes or family recipes you would like to make. There will be plenty of cookies available, so please don't feel like you have to make anything, but this is a great chance to show everyone your favorite recipes!
While kids are welcome to come, please note that the dinner and reception will be in a room with many expensive cars with only a velvet rope blocking them off. Children will need to be supervised at all times to make sure they're not touching the cars. The cars are privately owned, not owned by the museum, so we are liable for any damage.
Absolutely! Guests are free to explore the museum early (and encouraged as there's a lot to see). If you get there really early, you may have to pay for a ticket. The museum is open until 5 pm but they stop selling tickets at the door at 4 pm. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for seniors, veterans and students. Active duty military and children 6 and under are free. If you get there a little early (an hour or so) you should be able to get in for free if you tell them you're there for Logan and Jeannette's wedding. You will need to leave when the museum closes at 5 pm and come back before the ceremony starts at 5:30 pm, but there's plenty to see in the shopping center.
Of course! The open bar will close at 10 pm, giving everyone a chance to sober up if they chose to drive.
Absolutely! We are working on a setlist with our DJ, so please text Jeannette at (858) 436-6730 if you would like to request a specific song, or request that a specific song is not played (we can't guarantee your request will be approved but we will try to accommodate everyone).
