What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at Burden Museum and Gardens between 5:30pm and 5:45pm to allow ample time for parking and getting seated before the ceremony begins at 6:00pm.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking at the LSU AgCenter Main Visitor's Center lot, a grass lot behind the visitor center, and a gravel lot located behind the Rose Garden.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that phones and cameras are put away during our wedding ceremony.

We have chosen to make our special day an adults-only celebration, excluding immediate family members. Please verify with your RSVP for further information. We hope this advanced notice means you are still able to join us for our big day!

To ensure we can accommodate all guests comfortably within the venue's capacity, we ask that only invited guests attend our wedding festivities. You'll find the details about your party size, including whether it includes a plus one, on your invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail length dress or dressy separates for women, and a suit or dress shirt & tie with dress pants or khakis for men. We encourage bright, fun florals and breathable, lightweight fabrics as we will be outside in a garden. Please refrain from jeans and sneakers.
