FAQs

The Wedding Website of Nathan Bigler-McCorkell and Jeanna Robb
We've tried to cover all of our bases here, but if you have any additional questions or concerns, please reach out to Jeanna at (321) 586-7616 and we'll be happy to help you out!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than September 20th, 2024. You can either RSVP right here on the website, or send us a good old-fashioned snail mail response. The sooner we know, the better! :)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00PM. We ask that you please arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony so you can get comfortable and settled in and we can start on time.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire so please feel free to wear suits, dress shirts or blouses, nice pants, or cocktail dresses. We're not too picky and we want you to feel comfortable during both the ceremony and the reception, so please dress with your comfort in mind.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We are hoping to have the ceremony outside of the venue at their garden gazebo, weather permitting, of course . The ceremony should likely only be about a half an hour long. Since the wedding is taking place in October, please be mindful of the weather and dress accordingly for the outdoor portion. The cocktail hour and reception will both take place indoors. There is an outdoor patio for you to use if you'd like to step outside and enjoy the fresh air.

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Both the wedding ceremony and reception will be child-free. We love the kiddos, but we ask that they stay home for this event. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Dyker Beach Golf Course offers free valet parking to all guests of the wedding ceremony and reception so there's no need to stress about finding parking on the Brooklyn streets. Just pull up to the main entrance and the Dyker Beach team will take care of the rest.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

If you're looking for a hotel close by to the ceremony and reception venue, we recommend staying at the Avid Hotel - Dyker Heights. It is a 5 minute walk to the venue and it was just recently built so it is brand new. We have a block of rooms reserved for guests, so please use our code "RBM" when booking.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is no official transportation available to and from the hotel and venue. If you are staying at the Avid Hotel, it is a short walk to the venue. Ubers and Lyfts should also be readily available in the area.

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

Bring your appetites! During our cocktail hour, there will be both various passed hors d'oeuvre and a cold display of meats and cheeses. The reception will include a seated dinner with a salad and pasta appetizer course, a main course with your choice of either steak, chicken, fish, or a vegetarian option, and finally, a dessert bar as well as wedding cake. A full bar will be available throughout the cocktail hour and the reception.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely, please let us know as soon as possible if you have any allergies or specific food restrictions. We will be happy to work with the venue to alert them and find an alternative for you. The venue does offer vegetarian options, so please specify that when RSVPing.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

No, we do not have a gift registry. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to give us a gift, we have a honeymoon fund available that you contribute to on the Registry page. A wedding card box will also be at our reception.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Absolutely! We encourage you to take and share all the pictures that you want. We do however ask that you please respect our photographer and ensure that your photos and devices do not disrupt our ceremony so that our photographer can capture those important memories. If posting to social media, feel free to use our hashtag #jeannathan.

Question

What health and safety measures will be in place?

Answer

Your health and safety is very important to us. Both of us as well as our immediate families will be fully vaccinated a few weeks before the event. We will provide masks and hand sanitizer for anyone who feels uncomfortable. We welcome you to wear a mask if you choose to, to protect your health.
