Pastor Ivette, Jeanevra, and Andrew have known each other since October 2018 as Pastor Ivette is co-pastor of Square Root Church's (SRC) Children and Family ministry. In addition to Pastor Ivette's leadership in ministry, Jeanevra and Pastor Ivette have grown extremely close over the years. Pastor Ivette's values regarding family, love, and friendship as well as her love of God is what makes her friendship with Jeanevra one to be cherished. Pastor Ivette and Jeanevra both serve on the same ministry team at SRC as greeters. With many early mornings and late afternoons serving together, their bond has grown.

Tiffany and Jeanevra are maternal cousins. They have shared experiences of bunk-beds as kids, Brandy and Monica concerts in Blacksburg, SC, and fashion shows in the trailer in the country in Gaffney, SC. Tiffany taught Jeanevra the importance of persevering through adversity while never giving up.
Sondra Pearson

Sondra and Jeanevra are sisters. From showing out as a child in the mall, to late night card games, and watching "Good Times" at Ryan Apartments, their relationship was created on solid grounds from the beginning. Sondra has taught Jeanevra how to just enjoy life as it is and to not sweat the small stuff. Nobody can make Jeanevra laugh the way Sondra can when she tells a good story. They were born to be sisters, and Jeanevra is blessed to have her as big sis.
Tondra Pearson

Tondra is Jeanevra's sister. Jeanevra would go to her Aunt Mae's house and spend time with Tondra as a child. Over the years, Tondra and Jeanevra would have long conversations about love and life. As a big sister should, Tondra would always be honest about her truths while holding space for Jeanevra's as well. The bond Tondra and Jeanevra share is special which is why they will always be "sustahs."
Jocelyn Baugh

Jeanevra and Jocelyn's friendship goes back 15 years to THE Georgia Southern University (GSU) during Fall of 2007. They met at a rehearsal practice for Voices in Ministry, a gospel choir at GSU. They were both singing soprano, although Jeanevra was supposed to be an alto, and immediately became friends. From shenanigans at Wild Wednesdays to barely graduating senior year hours before graduation, their friendship has remained strong. They began as strangers that became friends but now are sisters.
Aleigha Butler

Aleigha's late mother, Gloria, and Jeanevra's father, Grady, are twin siblings. Aleigha is Jeanevra's prayer and praise partner. They have had countless conversations about their love and relationship with God along with discussions of relationships, life, and health. Over the past 10 years, Jeanevra and Aleigha's relationship has grown closer as they have traveled and worked on achieving their life goals together.
Patricia Barbosa da Silva

Jeanevra and Patricia met during the Fall of 2013 at Barry University in Miami, Florida in a doctoral program. At first, Jeanevra could not stand Patricia because she was sooooo studious (lol). But little did she know, Patricia would become one of her closest friends and later business colleagues with Advocate2Create. Patricia has observed and participated in aiding Jeanevra in growing into the clinician she is today. Life would not be as sweet with her "sister from another mister" and her "cream to her coffee."
Dominic McMillan

Dominic is Andrew's son. Andrew has memories of watching "Spiderman" movies with Dominic when he was as young as 5 years old. Andrew and Dominic share their love of comics, music, and movies which has helped shape their special bond through the years. From a newborn baby until now, Andrew has had the privilege of watching Dominic transition into a young man. Andrew is most proud of Dominic's big heart and his love for Jesus Christ.
Chris McMillan

Chris is Andrew's eldest brother. As a big brother, Chris has always been there in times of need for Andrew. From watching wrestling, body slamming Andrew, and breaking closet doors, they have had some really great times as kids. Watching Chris grow into his calling as a Pastor has been inspiring for Andrew, and he is proud to call him his brother.
Grady Pearson, Jr.

Grady is Jeanevra's older brother. Grady is the life of the partner with his great sense of humor and personality yet a big stability in his sister's life. His journey through life in education, career choices, and now marriage has been a major reason why he has become someone that Jeanevra looks up to and admires. Fun fact, Andrew asked Grady along with her father for their permission and blessing to propose because he knew how important those 2 men are to her. Over the past 3 years, Andrew and Grady have grown to know and appreciate each other for their shared loved for Jeanevra.
Pastor Paul Preston

Andrew and Pastor Paul met at Square Root Church (SRC) in October 2018 as he serves as co-Pastor of the Children and Families ministry. Their relationship began with serving alongside each other in ministry at church but quickly grew with their shared commonalities. They are both pastor kids that have exchanged so many memories and stories from childhood. Pastor Paul has the best sense of humor that keeps Andrew laughing. He has been their to pray for Andrew and Jeanevra and someone for them to lean on. Pastor Paul has become more than just a pastoral leader, but a brother and friend. Andrew seeks to have a heart as big as Pastor Paul. Pastor Paul knows that the "next dinner is on me" (from Andrew).
Patrick Sawyers

Patrick and Andrew met at Square Root Church (SRC) in October 2018. Their bond was created through old-school music, repeating movie lines, and serving alongside each other in ministry. Patrick has been there in times of Andrew's life where he has needed prayer, encouragement, and laughs. Andrew and Patrick share their love of eating food and enjoying life in the moment. Patrick has become more than just a friend. He is a brother and family to Jeanevra and Andrew. Andrew is so glad he can have a "brother from another mother."
Jonathan Rios

Jeanevra and Andrew met Jonathan at church. Working side by side with Andrew in ministry helped them form a friendship which grew into them being brothers. Between bowling and basketball, Jonathan found out Andrew was the best (Lol). Andrew appreciates Jonathan's heart, love for God, and his investment in the couple's relationship.

Jabber also met the couple at church while serving together. Andrew and Jabbar's friendship grew from game nights to basketball to just sharing each other lives in good conversations. Andrew appreciates his friendship and that he can count on him if he is in need, but he can't sing at their wedding (sorry bro lol).
Hannah Sawyers

Hannah is AMAZING!! She has given so much of her time, energy, and love to ensure that Jeanevra and Andrew's wedding day will be and is special. Outside of the wedding planning arena, Jeanevra and Hannah are very close friends. Hannah gets the crazy that comes with Jeanevra while also adding her own dash of it too. Church is where the two met, but their friendship and later sisterhood has continued to blossom over the years. To Hannah: "Thank you for bringing Andrew and my vision to life. You have helped keep me sane even though there were some close calls. Laughing with you is what I love the most.
