How Far is Devil's Thumb Ranch from the Airport

Answer

March weather can be a bit snowy still so depending on the weather it is at least 2 hours, but please plan on 2.5 to 3 if the weather is bad. Please visit the website to get a better knowledge of the property. Devil's Thumb has restaurants/bars on property for you to grab breakfast, lunch, or evening meals and brews. Also has fun activities to do during the day if you get in early or for Saturday. DTR has a year round outdoor heated pool and hot tubs. Are the venue and hotel the same place

Answer

Yes! Devil’s Thumb Ranch is a mountain resort. If you are choosing to stay at DTR in our room block all wedding events will be within walking distance from your room. Bring your warm clothes. If you are choosing to stay outside of DTR and prefer to stay in Winter Park or Tabernash, you will need transportation to and from events. See lodging page for more detail.

Weather in Tabernash

Answer

In March it could sunny and 40s or it could be snowing and 20s. Please check the weather before packing and be prepared to pack for winter weather! If staying at Devil’s Thumb Ranch, bring your swim suit. The pools and hot tubs are heated and open year round with beautiful mountain views.

If flying in please see if others can group up and rent a car together from Denver International Airport. Uber/Lift/Taxi

Wanted to let all guests not staying at Devil's Thumb Ranch know that ride share services (Uber, Lyft, Taxi) are not readily available in these mountain towns. You will not be able to use these or depend on these for rides unless scheduled far in advance (website below for an option). We recommend guests stay at Devil's Thumb Ranch to avoid potential complications with transportation, but please plan accordingly if you are choosing to stay in Winter Park or Fraser.
