When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Kindly RSVP no later than 08/01 using the "RSVP" tab on our website. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume you are unable to attend. If you RSVP "yes" but find that you can no longer make it, please let us know as soon as possible!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive at St. John Evangelical United Church of Christ by 3:00 p.m. CT to allow ample time for parking and getting seated before the ceremony begins promptly at 3:30 p.m.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We can't wait to see our loved ones dressed to the nines! Our wedding calls for semi-formal attire that's both stylish and comfortable. Ladies, we're envisioning chic, structured knee-length, midi, or maxi dresses that make you feel fabulous. Gentlemen, opt for suits or dress slacks paired with a jacket—ties are welcome but optional. Will the ceremony be unplugged?
Answer
Yes! We kindly ask that phones and cameras be put away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present in the moment with us. We’ve hired a wonderful photographer to capture it all, and we can’t wait to share those memories with you after.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Can I bring a date?
Answer
We are so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends. Plus ones will be noted on your invitation, and we kindly ask that only those listed attend so we can keep the day personal and intimate.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Ample parking will be available at both St. John’s and The Bourbon Ballroom. Guests are welcome to leave their vehicles in the reception lot overnight; however, we kindly request that all vehicles be retrieved by 10:00 AM the following morning.

Will the wedding events be inside or outdoors?
Answer
All of our wedding events will take place indoors, so you can relax and enjoy the celebration in comfort, rain or shine!

Will there be dietary accomodations?
Answer
Yes! We will have a variety of options to meet everyone's dietary needs. When submitting your RSVP, please indicate any allergies or dietary restrictions so we can plan accordingly.
