What celebration events am I invited to?

Answer

We ask attendees to be mindful that we have limited our guest list for the ceremony due to capacity constraints. Your invite indicates if you’ve been invited to the ceremony/reception or reception only. Please attend only the event(s) you've been invited to.

Are photos allowed?

Answer

Yes! However, we will have professionals there to document our event, so please grant them the space to capture those moments. If you choose to take photos/video and share on social media, our hashtag is #Rogadooles

Will the ceremony and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is outdoors and the reception is indoors (with an outdoor parklet).

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive early as the ceremony site is about 10-15 minute walk from the park entrance (please use the 9th Avenue entrance). Wear comfy shoes! We recommend public transit or Lyft/Uber as parking is limited. Your ceremony attendance gets you free access to the entire garden. We recommend coming early/staying after to explore and see all it has to offer!

How do I get from the ceremony to the reception?

Choose your own adventure! But we recommend public transit (N Line) or Lyft/Uber to the reception.

What do I do while I'm killing time here?

Answer

Refer to our "Things To Do" tab for recommendations! Here are some specific recommendations if you're looking for something to do between the ceremony and reception: Stroll in the gardens and Golden Gate Park (you're already in them, might as well enjoy!) Explore Inner Sunset, central point is Irving and 9th Ave (plenty of bars, food, and unique shops)

Smart Casual (aka, San-Francisco-Fancy) or Cocktail. Feel free to wear white, Jeanette won't be.

Due to capacity, we are unable to accommodate guests beyond our initial lists. You made the cut though!

Are there any other events this weekend?

Answer

Absolutely! We're putting together a welcome event Friday and/or Saturday, so keep an eye out for that invite. There also will likely be an after-party. (Location TBD). We will probably decide in the moment what to do. :)

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are not registered anywhere as your presence is the best gift. If you wish to honor us with a gift, a cash gift would be welcome.

What will the weather be like?

Early October in San Francisco is typically mild and delightful! Keep an eye on the weather during the days leading to the celebration so you can plan accordingly.
