Community, Music and Burning Man are important things in both of our lives. We often wonder how it took so long for us to "meet". Life is definitely about timing. After years of being acquainted and months of Beto asking Jeanelle to "get together for a drink", sparks finally flew at a mutual friends birthday party. Jeanelle was dressed as a mermaid, Beto the Pirate was ready to capture that booty. Our first date was a week later. We both knew right away this was the beginning of something extra special.

After Beto picked up the engagement ring from our amazing jeweler he, slid the box under the covers on my side of the bed. A little back story, Beto sleeps A LOT. He decided it was safest to put the ring somewhere I would not miss it. I sure DID miss it alright. LOL I sat right on it, like a chicken trying to hatch an egg. Beto could not contain himself. He was very amused with me sitting on the ring while we were having a semi-serious conversation. I eventually noticed and opened the box to see the most BEAUTIFUL ring I have ever seen. What a special moment for us <3
