When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by August 17, 2025 but earlier the better!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 12:30pm to be seated for the ceremony to begin at 1:00pm prompt.

Is there parking or transportation for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Transportation is not provided on our big day but there is plenty of free parking at the church. The venue, Lacuna Lofts, also has parking for $3/hour, as well as plenty of free street parking on S Canalport Ave. Please let us know if you would be driving and utilizing their parking lot as the venue requests an estimated number of cars that will need parking. However, if you're planning on drinking and getting lit with the newlyweds, we strongly recommend using rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft!

Is there a dress code?

This event is Black-Tie-Optional. Dress to impress! Our color palette is inspired by the mesmerizing colors of fall. We want our big day as colorful as FALL in Chicago! Dress comfortably as it will definitely be a night full of dancing.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

After careful consideration and a delicious food tasting, we've finalized our wedding menu, selecting dishes that perfectly reflect our taste and will delight our guests on our big day! Please let the bride and groom know of any food allergies or dietary restrictions you may have! Please include your list of allergens when it's time to RSVP!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Given our planned resources, we have decided to limit the number of guests. Our goal is to keep our very special day as intimate as possible, we are choosing to celebrate with only our closest family and friends. Plus ones are therefore by invitation only and we ask other guests to please not bring a plus one. Thank you for respecting our wishes

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately due to space limitations, we are having an adults-only reception. The only children attending are those who are part of our wedding party. If anyone needs help with making arrangements for child care, please let us know and we will do our best to assist.

Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for, but if you wish to give something, we kindly ask for a monetary gift to help us start our new life together
