FAQs

Still have some questions? You can always reach out to us directly, but here are some commonly ask ones.
Question

What about COVID?

Answer

Your health and safety are our top priority. As such, we’ve decided to postpone our wedding. We hope you’ll save our new date — July 31, 2021. You can RSVP anytime on our site. We look forward to celebrating together this summer!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

We recommend cocktail attire but feel free to get as dressed up beyond that as you wish. Keep in mind that you will be parading and dancing in the street during the Second Line, so comfortable shoes are something to seriously consider.

Question

Where should we book a hotel room?

Answer

We have room blocks with discounted rates at two different hotels in the French Quarter. You can find the links to book a room in the "Travel" tab. Keep in mind these blocks expire about a month before the wedding.

Question

Are you registered for gifts anywhere?

Answer

Since our wedding is out of town for most people, we would like for you to use the money you'd spend on a gift towards your travel/room expenses. If you wish to get us something, we have added ways to give toward our honeymoon in the "Registry" tab.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a small free lot at the church next to a paid parking area; however, there is no designated parking area at the reception venue since it is in the heart of the French Quarter. As such, we recommend walking from your hotel or catching an Uber, Lyft, cab, or pedi-cab to the ceremony and then joining the second line as we parade to the reception a few blocks away!

Question

How should we get from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

There will be a second line starting immediately after the ceremony at the church and parading down the streets of the French Quarter to The Court of Two Sisters a few blocks away. Please wear comfy shoes! If walking is not an option for you, we recommend catching an uber/taxi from the church to the reception.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

It won't, but on the off chance it does, there will be no second line. Have an umbrella on hand just in case.
