Every love story begins somewhere — and ours began long before we even knew it. We grew up surrounded by familiar faces in familiar places. Our families were friends, and for years, we were just part of the same world — orbiting around each other with that quiet, effortless connection that only destiny could design. As time went by, we crossed paths in little ways — a wave across a room, a shy smile, a quick hello. Never strangers, but never quite more than that either. Just two souls moving side by side, waiting for the right moment to collide. That moment came on 27 September 2018 — the night of our Matric Ball. The music was playing, the lights were glowing, and the air was filled with that spark of possibility that only youth can bring. But when Letilda felt out of place and a little uncomfortable, Jeandre noticed. He offered her comfort, kindness, and a moment of calm — and somehow, in that small gesture, everything changed. From friendship came laughter. From laughter came love. Our conversations felt easy, our connection natural — and suddenly, being apart just felt a little too long. On 16 December 2018, during a trip to Dullstroom with Jeandre’s family, he asked Letilda to make it official — to take the first step of many together as boyfriend and girlfriend. And of course, she said yes. Since then, we’ve shared years filled with adventure, laughter, quiet moments, and a love that’s grown stronger with every sunrise. Then, on 17 February 2024, under a painted sunset at Leopard Rock, Jeandre got down on one knee and asked the question that would begin our forever. And once again, she said yes — a promise sealed with love, time, and joy. Now, on 18 April 2026, surrounded by our dearest family and friends, we can’t wait to begin the next chapter — the day we say “I do.” It’s been eight years of love, growth, and discovery — a journey that’s brought us exactly where we belong.

Dullstroom holds a special place in our hearts, with its breathtaking views and magical atmosphere. It’s where our first chapter began - when we first started dating - and it only feels right that it’s where our next chapter should begin too.
