- In 2017 the bride and grooms fathers met at a local gym. Both were men of God and quickly formed a friendship. Shortly thereafter both ministries began to fellowship with each other and that is when the Mauraina and Jonathan first laid eyes on each other. After being introduced followed by a long handshake, both left that service not realizing destiny was about to come forth in their lives. It was an instant connection and both prayed that God would find a way to connect them back together. - Months later, in the summer of two thousand eighteen, after seeing each other a few more times at church services, Mauraina asked her father permission if she could send Jonathan a message through Facebook. Utilizing the excuse she needed some tips on “personal training and an eating plan”, Jonathan responded and they met the following day. - There was an instant connection between them both. Jonathan asked for a meeting with both of Mauraina’s parents to get their blessing for him to date her. They approved and later that evening he asked her to be his girlfriend. - Since that day, their relationship has bloomed. From the beginning they made a commitment for their relationship to be Christ-centered. They have stood on this promise from praying together, ministering to each other and others along with practicing abstinence. - After seeking the Lord and obtaining the blessing from both his father and Raina’s, Jonathan proposed January 24, 2019 surrounded by family and friend’s. - They are both powerful vessels in the kingdom and God. Now that they are uniting as one, they are excited about the next plans the Lord has for their lives and ministry together.
