Carlye Rangeo

Maid of Honor

I had no idea when I met Casey's random college roommate, that she and I would re-meet and become best friends 5 years later. 2 cities, 1 dog, 2 new jobs, and 4 Kickball seasons later, we find ourselves in Texas letting strangers believe we're sisters. Carlye was there from day one of my relationship with Logan, and I couldn't have been more excited to ask her to be my Maid of Honor.

Conor Hanney

Best Man

Conor and I became friends during our sophomore year of high school, and we have had quite the journey since. In the following years, we went to college up north, moved into a 1-bedroom apartment in LA with 3 guys, moved into a 2-bedroom apartment with 4 guys (UPGRADE!), watched countless shows & musicals, and have had 2 separate failed attempts at using a gift card at a California Pizza Kitchen. Through everything, Conor has always been by side, and I couldn't be more proud to have him as my Best Man.

Casey Virtuoso

Bridesmaid

Casey Virtuoso. The Hannah to my Montana. The Rachel to my Monica. Ever since we were assigned identical class schedules in 6th grade, we were inseparable. There's enough spirit in Casey's little finger to put a smile on my face for the rest of my days. I can always count on a random weekday text to remind me why I love her. I believe this past week's suggestion was to quit work and apply for the Amazing Race....

Morgan Stanley

Groomsman

Morgan has been one of my best friends for nearly 20 years. He and I moved to Austin together on a whim, and it has been a wild ride. From tearing up the dance floor at Container Bar to creating roommate holiday cards that raise more questions than holiday cheer, I could not imagine what my experience in Austin would have been like without him. Morgan was with me the first time I met Jean, and I couldn't be happier to have him by my side on the big day.

Lauren Shields

Bridesmaid

Lauren has been my ride or die since we were toddlers. I'm sure Sawgrass Country Club hasn't seen a rowdier pair of troublemakers since we set off for college, but no matter where our lives take us, we'll never be too old for the fruit bandits. Any adventure I had growing up, I can guarantee you Lauren was by my side (and probably leading the charge). Lauren has always been considered part of our family, and I count each of the Shields clan just as dearly.

David Johnson

Groomsman

David and I first met on Mr. Foster's bus in 6th grade. Though those bus rides provided plenty of horror stories, they also gave us the opportunity to become friends. Since those days, David and I have performed together in 3 lip syncs, took secret voice lessons to impress our friends during Christmas carols, memorized the square roots of the numbers 2-8 to spite a teacher, and much more. David has played an integral role in some of my favorite memories, and I have no doubt he will keep this trend going at our wedding.

Vanessa Vargas

Bridesmaid

Thank goodness I sat next to Vanessa during my college internship! Once I worked up the courage to ask her for help, I immediately knew we were going to be fast friends. Especially after she took a leap of faith and blindly joined a kickball team I threw together. Vanessa was my rock during an integral period of transition in my life, and I wouldn't be where I am today without her. We (sometimes successfully and sometimes not) traversed that fine line between college and adulthood together. From Saddle Up to Switzerland, from Patio to the Pantheon, we had more adventures than we can count.

Justin Lucas

Groomsman

Justin and I became best friends in the 1st grade when we both found out that we had double-jointed fingers. 'Twas an unorthodox way for two people to meet, but I am so thankful for our similar hypermobility because things really kicked off from there. Whether it be heated competitions in alternative sports, late-night confessionals in a hot tub, or adding "iz" to the ends of words to show that we were hip, Justin and I have always been close, and not even 8 years of living in different states has changed that. I couldn't have been more excited to ask him to be a groomsman, and yes, I asked him during one of our late-night confessionals in a hot tub.

Amy Seney

Bridesmaid

Growing up with big brothers was an amazing experience - one I wouldn't trade for the world. However, I can NOT say enough how excited I was to gain my first sister! Even before Amy became an official part of our family, I could see what an amazing and spirited person she was (and I know Officer Johnson would agree!). From attending the last Freebird concert in Jax Beach, to our first skiing experience at Wintergreen, I felt on top of the world because I had my sister by my side.

Gabe Lucas

Groomsman

Gabe is Justin's identical twin, so can I just copy and paste in Justin's section? No??? Fine... I met Gabe in the 2nd grade, and we became friends instantly (possibly because I thought he was Justin). All jokes aside, I couldn't imagine growing up without Gabe as a friend. He was always one of the leaders when getting our group of friends together for some type of fun event (pick-up flag football, medley swimming, watermelon ball, you name it) and his charisma has always been contagious. Gabriel was the first of my friends who I revealed my feelings for Jean to, and it only makes sense that he's up there with me on the big night.

Coco Seney

Bridesmaid

Speaking of sisters, I was blessed with another May of 2017. We initially bonded over making terrible margaritas and sharing our inner most feelings while Chip and Coco were studying at UVA's Darden School of Business. I'm sure nothing is more annoying than having your little sister crash your grad school events, but both Chip and Coco welcomed me with open arms every time. And I'm so thankful they did, because I got to share many amazing experiences (and more than one hangover, courtesy of the Virginian) with Coco.

Brodie Smith

Groomsman

My childhood would not have been the same without my big ol' brother Brodie. Even though I was 5 years younger than him, he would always let me be involved in the shenanigans that he and his friends would get into such as launching water balloons, making a "Usual Suspects 2" movie, or even creating a song for his YMCA summer camp counselor talent show. Flash forward 15 years, and I still find us doing similar things. You would be hard-pressed to find someone with a more exciting energy than Brodie, and I have no doubt he's going to be tearing it up on the dance floor come September 29th.

Nichole Boyer

Bridesmaid

When Nichole and I first met, we had both just started our new jobs at IZEA. We were working as associates on the same team and never expected we'd become close friends. Nichole was WAY too cool for me! She was edgy and fashionable and I was likely wearing a cheap polyester blouse from Francesca's and flip flops that had been half eaten by Rue. But after countless breakfast runs to Publix and our dog sitting adventures, she was one of my closest confidants. I'm still holding out hope some of her design skills (and green thumb!) will rub off on me. I'm still waiting....

Kelly Collar

Groomsman

Kelly and I first met at Barbara Jean's Restaurant when our parents awkwardly tried to make us exchange pleasantries because we were both incoming freshman in the IB Program. I'm sure it was enough to make us want to transfer at the time, but 3 years later, Kelly became one of my best friends, and I am so glad that he did. From holding his own when playing my family in our myriad of board games, to showing me the best places to find a bagel in THE BIG APPLE, Kelly quickly cemented himself as one of my closest brothers. I couldn't imagine a world without Kelly and his hilarious texts about his Brooklyn Nets, and I couldn't be happier to have him as a groomsman.
